Macallan Harmony Collection Amber Meadow
Macallan Harmony Collection series, 'Amber Meadow' iis the third limited annual release. It has been created in collaboration with Stella and Mary McCartney, to celebrate the lush and fertile lands of Scotland which connects all those who have stood upon it for generations. This partnership with The Macallan marks the first time the McCartney sisters have worked together and provided them an opportunity to collaborate on a project which allows them to reminisce and celebrate their memories of Scotland a place they associate with spending precious time with their family rowing up. The product name 'Amber Meadow' stems from their childhood memories of summer days in amber fields at their family farm in the Scottish countryside. The Macallan Whisky Mastery Team have taken inspiration from natural Scottish grasslands to create this distinctive expression strongly reminiscent of warm meadows and mature barley fields, with a rich, citrus scented finish that was created using a mixture of sherry seasoned oak and bourbon casks. In keeping with the Harmony Collection Series' commitment to highlight sustainability practices, 'Amber Meadow' features distinctive packaging, celebrating Scotland's lush and green lands as both the presentation box and bottle labels are made using discarded meadow cuttings and features a photograph of The Macallan Estate captured by Mary McCartney and selected by Stella McCartney.
