'Dona Celia Reposado Tequila is a depiction of the original La Catrina. She became a symbolic figure during the time of the Mexican Revolution. La Catrina is often associated with Dia de Los Muertos (Day of the Dead), a pre-Colombian Meso-American observance of death and life that is celebrated on November 2nd in all of Mexico, the Yucatan Peninsula and parts of Central America. To this day, La Catrina continues to be a symbolic figure. She has become part of the imagery for Dia de los Muertos, but she can also be found in books, cartoons, posters, figurines, and artwork spanning over 100 years. Now we adapt Mexico's great folklore into a one-of-a-kind Tequila Package, Dona Celia Tequila!
