Stranahan's Diamond Peak Cask Finished Colorado Whiskey

Stranahan's Diamond Peak Cask Finished Whiskey is series of cask finished expression distilled from 100% malted barley and handmade in small batches at the Stranahan's distillery. These expressions are first aged in American oak barrels for a minimum of 4 years. The first expression is finished in Bushmills Irish single malt barrels for more than 3 years, providing a unique and complex profile that would make an Irishman blush. The second unique release uses a marriage of 5-8 year Stranahan's and spends over 2 years in casks previously used to finish the prized Reserva de Familia blended from Jose Cuervo family reserves. The resulting whiskey is a burst of brightness that's herbal, peppery and has just the right amount of agave sweetness.
