KAIYO THE RAMU UN-CHILLFILTERED Complex & Unique Tropical Fruit & Sweet Oak WOOD LIBRARY SERIES - The Ramu 8 Year is the perfect union of Japanese and Caribbean flavors. This whisky is aged to perfection in Japanese Mizunara Oak casks for 6 years, then an additional 2 years in Caribbean JM Rhum agricole barrels. These unique agricole barrels infuses the whisky with a marriage of tropical sweetness and robust oakiness, creating a drinkable spirit that is complex yet smooth. On the nose, it is full of notes of crisp malt and golden raisins, followed by subtle hints of ripe tropical fruits and sweet oak. On the palate, there is a richness of toasted oak.
