Piedra Azul Reposado Tequila
Piedra Azul Tequila Reposado is distilled at century-old La Madrileña in Tototlan, and produced from 100% Blue Weber Agave from the Los Altos region in the central state of Jalisco. Made from 100% agave Piedra Azul is light and vegetal with strong lingerint of brine and citrus that lend well to cocktail making. Eloquently packaged with trims of turquoise (hence the name and color that is believed to keep evil spirits out), it is great on its own or mixed. Piedra Azul is named for the prized gem, Turquoise; in tribute to ancient Mexican ancestors who considered the Turquoise stone a sacred emblem of power, luck and protection. The distillery, La Madrileña, was founded in 1911 in Tototlan, Jalisco. Known for producing the finest blue agave tequilas, they remain true to Mexican tradition and take pride in the fine quality of their tequilas.
